Champion Christian College is excited to welcome Josh Clark! Coach Clark will be joining Tiger Nation
this fall as the new assistant men’s baseball coach, working alongside head men’s coach, Don
Schultheis. In addition, he will be assisting the executive department as well as teaching theology
classes.
Beyond his sports credentials, Coach Clark brings an extensive ministry background to this position. He
holds a Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in the
ministry for over two decades. After fifteen years spent pastoring Parrans Chapel Baptist Church in
Bolivar, Tennessee, he also worked as the youth pastor at New Life Baptist Church in Alexander,
Arkansas, equipping him to teach and guide the next generation of Christ followers. He enjoys sports of
all kinds and looks forward to helping Champion’s players, especially his favorite Tiger—his son, Josiah,
who is a freshman at Champion this fall.
When he’s not coaching and ministering, Coach Clark enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his
wife, Brittney, and his four children—Josiah, Alana, Haley, and Samuel.
As he looks forward to his new position at Champion, Coach Clark quotes Psalm 145:4: “One generation
shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.” “It is so exciting to be a part of
God’s work at Champion,” he says. “The call to serve, teach, and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to
college students at Champion is certainly to be counted as ‘all joy.’” We at Champion couldn’t agree
more. We are so excited to have Coach Clark as a member of Tiger Nation, and we look forward to
seeing how God will use him in the lives of our student athletes!
