The following is a message from our Executive Vice President, Dr. Jeremy Horton.
On behalf of President Capaci, it’s my prayer that you are abounding in the joy of the Lord who is present in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). These past few weeks or so have certainly been difficult for most of us to navigate through but we are trusting the Lord for wisdom as we do.
After President Trump recently addressed the nation in regards to extending a further delay of social distancing from April 17 to April 30, President Capaci and myself have agreed that the campus will now be officially closed for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. Thus, online zoom classes for the students will continue as they are now until the semester ends. Graduation Commencement on May 8 is uncertain at this time whether it will continue as scheduled or be postponed. A final decision will be reached very soon. Yet for now, let’s endeavor to finish strong together for this final lap of the race for the next 4 weeks! With God’s help and by God’s grace, we can do this.
Above all, we love you!!! A Champion is not a quitter; we will keep fighting the good fight of FAITH together and reach towards the Fall 2020 semester ready to go! 🙂
Have a blessed and fruitful day in your walk with our risen Lord & Savior!
