Champion offers the following academic pathways:

Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies

(minimum of 120 credit hours)

  • Complete the Christian and General Education Core requirements
  • Area of Concentration: Students must choose a minimum of 32 credit hours in an area of professional studies and a minimum of 18 credit hours in a related area of professional studies in consultation with an academic advisor. All courses must be passed with a minimum “C” grade.

  • Elementary Education

**Note- The education degree programs are for non-licensure. However, students may choose to continue with certification through the alternative licensure programs offered by the Arkansas Department of Education.

Associates of Arts in Professional Studies

(minimum of 60 credit hours)

  • Complete the Christian and General Education Core requirements.
  • Students must choose additional directed elective courses in an area of professional studies in consultation with an academic advisor.

Bachelor of Arts in Church Ministries

(minimum of 120 credit hours)

  • Complete the Christian and General Education Core requirements
  • Area of Concentration: Students must choose one area of concentration and directed electives in consultation with an academic advisor. All courses must be passed with a minimum “C” grade.

Christian and General Education Core Requirements

Every student who is pursuing a degree at Champion Christian College is required to complete the courses of the Biblical and General Education core. These courses integrate both biblical and theological studies along with the liberal arts, natural and social sciences, mathematics, and humanities.

These requirements are designed to establish biblical core values, solidify a biblical worldview, strengthen comprehension and communication skills, and apply critical thinking skills. The purpose of the program is to ensure that students attain knowledge common to educated people and become able to process and evaluate that knowledge for making decisions.

A minimum of nine hours of Christian courses for an associate’s degree and a minimum of fifteen hours of Christian courses for a bachelor’s degree are required.
